Matt 5:30

A few days ago, Brian at Recover the Gospel posted a link to illbehonest.com.  As I was looking around the site, I found an awesome program they call Matt 5:30.  Basically what it does is replace possibly dangerous content on YouTube, Facebook, and MySpace with Bible verses.  How cool an idea is that!  I don’t use Facebook or MySpace, but I’ve definitely noticed the problem on YouTube.  Quoting from my old blog:

There needs to be more of this kind of thing on YouTube.  And less stuff in the Promoted Videos section featuring scantily clad girls (May 07, 2007).

Note that this was when there really were only 2 or 3 Piper videos on YouTube.  My how things have changed!

Well thanks to the guys at illbehonest.com, the second half of my wish has now come true:

  1. James Says:

Hey Nathan, I am glad it can be a blessing to you. Just a heads up we will have a new version coming out in the future that will be a better blessing we hope. If you ever get a box popping up saying Javscript [-0], that is not an error, it just means it couldn’t yank the verse from the server due to lag, this will be fixed in the future.

    Stand strong in Christ.

All for Christ. All for Revival,
    James
